  • Input Session: Dive Headfirst into User Research | Service Jam Berlin
    with strangers when we could be getting real work done by designing solutions and fixing problems This is an attitude many products and services are created with today But how do we know what we re designing is the right solution Or that we re trying to solve the right problem in the first place We have to understand the context the people and the issues they face It s hard to do this without going to our users and learning from them There is a large toolbox of user research methods ethnographic studies contextual inquiries cultural probes role playing and participatory storytelling usability testing and more At the Service Jam Saturday input session Kyra will touch on some of these techniques and discuss how to conduct and use them to inform the design process Jam participants will take some of these tools and use them right away participants get to go outside and play All of these tools generate a lot of ideas and information She will review some ways to make sense of all this data and how to move forward And once Jam teams start developing ideas we ll push you out the door again to test
