    Wir wünschen viel Spaß beim Lesen 19Sept2012 TAG 4 Heute war eine Schnitzeljagd durch Manly angesagt Zuerst bekamen wir kostenlose ICMS Shirts die wir behalten dürfen und dann ging das Teambuilding los Es wurde extra darauf geachtet dass bereits gebildete Grüppchen getrennt wurden was ich persönlich sehr gut fand Ich hatte eine super Gruppe und konnte auch endlich mal viel Englisch reden Bei der Schnitzeljagd mussten wir mehrere Fragen und einige Challenges bestehen die alle mit Essen zutun hatten beispielsweise Känguruh Fleisch essen seeeeehr lecker wie ich finde oder so schnell wie möglich Pie mit Ketchup essen Das hat richtig viel Spaß gemacht Man konnte Leute kennenlernen und gleichzeitig auch den Ort Außerdem hatten wir die Gelegenheit eine kostenlose VIP Karte in der Sharkbar zu bekommen mit der wir Rabatte bekommen Nach der Schnitzeljagd die wir leider nicht gewonnen haben habe ich endlich meinen vollständigen Stundenplan bekommen sieht ja recht gut aus Und abends war dann Karaoke angesagt mit Charlotte eine Deutsche habe ich Wannabe von den Spice Girls gesungen und ganz vorne dabei waren die Amerikaner und die Asiaten Gute Nacht meine Lieben Tags Auslandssemester ICMS Partneruni Sydney Der Beitrag wurde am Dienstag den 9 Oktober 2012 um 11

    nachdem wir uns häuslich eingerichtet haben endlich konnte ich all meine Liebsten an meiner Pinnwand verewigen bin ich endlich richtig angekommen Jetzt fühle ich mich hier wirklich wohl und habe viel Spaß Übrigens als Entschädigung dafür dass wir im Glockenturm wohnen dürfen wir wohl einmal die Treppe hoch zur Glocke und dort schöne Fotos machen Bevor am Abend die Welcome Cocktail Party losging hatten wir ein bisschen Freizeit in der Lovisa und ich ein paar schöne Fotos gemacht haben Abends war dann die Welcome Cocktail Party beginnend mit einer Welcome Ceremony in der College Chapel angesagt Jeder hatte sich schick gemacht und die Mitarbeiter der ICMS trugen Talare Die Feier war super schön Anfangs mussten wir aufstehen und es wurde wirklich schöne feierliche fast rührende Musik eingespielt und Studenten die schon länger am ICMS studieren trugen Flaggen von jedem vertretenen Land ca 40 herein Das gute ist dass hier von allem Fotos und Filme gemacht werden und am Ende des Semesters bekommt jeder Student eine Cd mit Fotos und ein Video über das Semester Nach der Welcome Ceremony folgte die Welcome Cocktail Party auf der es Champagner und Canapés gab und die Gelegenheit hatte weitere neue Leute kennenzulernen Und nach

    is one of the most traditional beer producers in Munich since 1663 The official opening ceremony in the evening offered a lot of opportunities for networking with participants from 23 countries On the conference day Dr Adrienne Steffen opened the conference with her keynote speech on Sustainability A New German Consumer Value in which she discussed the roots of CSR in Germany and the shift of consumer values that has taken place over the past decades Dr Adrienne Steffen The conference programme continued with the presentation of 46 conference papers that were organized in different sessions Dr Steffen presented another research paper with the title Sales People as Stress Factors in Retail Shopping The presentation discussed the extent to which consumers feel stressed by sales people The intensity of individual shopping emotions was shown to differ after a negative shopping experience depending on whether or not a sales person was involved in creating the negative experience Staff incompetence and staff unfriendliness increased the level of experienced consumer shopping stress It was very inspiring to exchange ideas with researchers from all over the world Dr Adrienne Steffen Tags Dr Adrienne Steffen European Marketing Conference Konferenz Marketing Der Beitrag wurde am Dienstag

    reduce illiteracy school drop outs or the environment Dipl Ing Angeli Büttner from Berlin explained how she greens the city of Berlin with local inhabitants and works on landscape remodeling projects It was evident that the revolution is one of the main drivers for the attitude change towards sustainable consumption Many speakers referred to pre and post revolution Egypt in their presentations and the 25th of January was often mentioned as a breaking point Dr Dalia A Kader even labeled the Egyptian revolution as a cry for sustainability to improve the economic governance environmental and social conditions of the Egyptian population It was impressive to see the enthusiasm and spirit amongst especially young student presenters and conference participants who will be the future managers of Egypt HIM presentation on Cause Related Marketing Dr Adrienne Steffen presented the case study Success Factors of Cause Related Marketing What Developing Countries can Learn from a German Sweets Campaign The case study was written together with Sabine Günther a recent HIM graduate who wrote her business dissertation on cause related marketing The case examines the differences of corporate social responsibility in developing and developed countries It evaluated the HARIBO Ein Herz für Kinder cause related marketing campaign from 2010 based on five success factors and proposed what developing countries can learn from the evaluation Because the addressed stakeholder groups in CSR campaigns and consumer motives differ in developing and developed countries it was recommended that developing countries should not simply copy CSR strategies from developed countries Instead they should research the macro environment consumer motives for sustainable consumption and the consumers basic needs It was proposed that using CRM campaigns to target the poor who are unable to spend money on organic products might be a better short run solution Spending the raised money on local projects and education about sustainable consumption and recycling could change consumer attitudes and consumption patterns in the long term The case is currently under review for publication in The MENA Business Case Journal Tags Dr Adrienne Steffen International Conference on Sustainability Konferenz Kategorie HIM around the World HIM at Events HIM News HIM People HIM Research 0 Kommentar HIB represented at the LCBR European Conference in Marketing 2011 Dienstag den 12 Juli 2011 Dr Adrienne Steffen at the LCBR European Conference in Marketing 2011 On July 07 08th 2011 40 professionals from 20 different countries gathered in Frankfurt for the LCBR Conference in Marketing a conference committed to connect researchers and marketing practitioners The conference was organized by Christian Wolf the director of the Lupcon Center for Business Research The LCBR conference started with a tour of the Deutsche Börse in Frankfurt where conference participants learned about the history of the Deutsche Börse and the trading system Xetra Furthermore participants were able to observe the traders on the trade floor In the evening participants had the opportunity to meet other researchers at the opening reception in the Mariott Hotel On the following day Thilo Heidrich from Deutsche Postbank

    Ihrem Abschluss ist eine lange Zeit vergangen Was ist nach dem Abschluss beruflich passiert Indra Waldbüßer Nach meinem Praktikum in Chile habe ich weiterhin im Nationalpark Torres del Paine in Chile gearbeitet Mein Arbeitgeber war Cascada www cascada travel Zum Saisonende bin ich nach Deutschland zurückgekehrt und habe bei einem Fernreisespezialisten begonnen Canusa www canusa de Anschließend folgte ein Wechsel zu Pineapple Tours www pineapplereisen at Im Frühling 2007 bekam ich dann die ersehnte Stelle bei Karawane Reisen GmbH in der Abteilung für Australien Neuseeland Südsee und Südamerika Wir erstellen individuelle und persönliche Reiseverläufe für Direktkunden Aus diesem Grund ist es besonders wichtig dass wir uns vor Ort auskennen Und so konnte ich bereits viele dieser Länder bereisen Ute Bender Nach den wirklich guten Erfahrungen in Namibia und bei ABB arbeite ich nun seit August 2005 bei Karawane Reisen in Ludwigsburg in der Afrika Abteilung im Bereich Sales und Products Was war der Ausschlag für Sie bei Karawane Reisen anzufangen Indra Waldbüßer Karawane Reisen GmbH war mir seit meiner Jugend als Fernreisespezialist bekannt Ich wollte bei einem Reiseveranstalter für Fernreisen arbeiten und bekam ein gutes Jobangebot aufgrund meiner Zielgebietskenntnisse und Erfahrung mit den Computerprogrammen mit denen wir bei Karawane arbeiten Toll ist auch dass wir pro Jahr an einer Inforeise in eines unserer Zielgebiete teilnehmen dürfen Ute Bender Ich hatte immer gehofft meine Leidenschaft für Afrika auch beruflich einbringen zu können was mir letztendlich gelungen ist Des Weiteren hat mich begeistert dass Karawane Reisen auf individuelle Kundenwünsche eingeht und nicht nur Produkte von der Stange verkauft Welche Themen aus Ihrem Studienprogramm sind Ihnen im Tagesgeschäft wieder begegnet Indra Waldbüßer Sehr nützlich waren die Fachkenntnisse in dem Reservierungssystem Amadeus und natürlich auch die Fremdsprachen und hier in erster Linie Englisch Dies benötige ich tagtäglich Aber auch die Kenntnisse in Reiserecht sind
