    Langanzeige Zusammenfassung This report provides an overview of the water resources for the TintinaraCoonalpyn PWA TCPWA and includes A general assessment of the groundwater resources for each of the aquifers in the PWA A description for both the unconfined and confined aquifers of The management approach adopted for the sustainable use of the resource generally referred to as permissible annual volume and a description of the manner in which the sustainable limits of use can be determined Where separate management areas exist within the PWA the adopted limits of sustainable groundwater use need to be tabulated The assessment should identify any data deficiencies and requirements for future investigations The historic and current demand in terms of use in each of the management areas within the PWA The likely future demand for groundwater from this resource in the PWA An assessment of whether the taking or use from the aquifers will have a detrimental effect on the quantity or quality of water that is available from any other water resource both within and outside of the PWA including a description of the likely nature and extent of any detrimental effects An assessment of the current condition of the groundwater resources of

    Zum Verlinken Bookmarken http hdl handle net 11858 00 1735 0000 0001 3359 A Dateiname DWLBC2002 23 pdf PDF 1 3 MB Google View Download Kategorien Australien und Ozeanien Hydrologie Zur Langanzeige Zusammenfassung The Musgrave Prescribed Wells Area PWA is located around the township of Elliston on Eyre Peninsula It covers an area of 3595 km2 and comprises all the Hundreds of Colton Talia Tinline Squire Ward Hudd Kappawanta Blesing Way Pearce and Haig Fig 1 It also incorporates the towns of Elliston and Bramfield In general water resources are limited in occurrence throughout Eyre Peninsula In the Musgrave PWA there is very little available surface water however there are moderately good supplies of groundwater The area is generally characterised by undulating topographic relief typical of an ancient dunal system with dramatic coastal cliffs and large internal drainage catchments Ground level elevations range from 100 m coastal cliffs to inland depressions reaching near sea level to bedrock highs exceeding 240 m The area incorporates the Lake Newland and part of the Bascombe Well Conservation Parks which are managed under the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1972 Pursuant to this Act the management plan for the Lake Newland Conservation Park is
